Growing Our Impact

We started as a creative partnership between first-time author Grayson Smith and first-time illustrator Alana Kyle. While we both held ‘real’ jobs, we realized that we wanted to be part of telling great stories. We have joined and brought together a growing community of storytellers who have amazing stories to tell, especially to the children in our lives. We are passionate about finding, recognizing, and passing on great stories, and books seemed like a good place start.

Grayson Smith is the primary at Peppermint Toast Publishing. He daydreams, writes, and edits - he also manages the projects, pays the bills, moves the boxes, and sweeps the floors. While working on creative projects at Peppermint Toast Publishing, he is also the father of three active sons, pursues higher education and works full-time as a police officer.
